Even experienced gardeners occasionally encounter problems when soil blocking. The good news is that most issues are easy to fix with small adjustments to soil mix, moisture or technique.

Solution: Add more moisture and compress soil firmly into the blocker.
Cause: Low humidity or insufficient watering
Solution: Bottom water regularly and consider using a humidity cover during early germination.
Cause: Incorrect sowing depth, uneven moisture or unsuitable soil mix
Solution: Follow seed-specific depth guidance and ensure consistent moisture.
Cause: Insufficient light or overcrowding
Solution: Provide adequate light and space blocks apart for airflow.
